If you do not have a Blackboard account, you can create your account. It is free.

Under “Need an account” Click “Create an account. You will then fill out four sections of information. (You only have to fill in information with asterisks*.) Remember, you must first have an email account to register. Enter “Personal Information” and then go to “Account Information” and enter a “User Name” and your own personal “Password”.  You will always need these to Log-in! Fill in other information, then”Submit”. You will then be sent to your own Blackboard page, which we refer to as “My Blackboard”.

We suggest you “bookmark” the Blackboard “Log-in” page. This will allow you to easily enter the “My Blackboard” page where you will find all the courses you have enrolled in that use Blackboard.

Enrolling In Your Online Course

• Click the “Courses” tab at the top of your My Blackboard page. Click Browse Course Catalog. Under Search Catalog, in the drop down menu, select Course ID and type “ner”.

• This will take you into the Course Catalog to the correct listing for the course in which you wish to enroll.  Click the “Enroll” button. That will take you to the page where you can “Self Enroll” by entering the enrollment “Access Code: ner”.  Once you are successfully enrolled, you may enter the course.

• Once you are in, click on Modules and you should be able to read the materials and the take the quiz!
